Fun With Design A Daydream

I always love it when I get a great deal especially on Designer Series Paper.  Today I am sharing a card that was created with the Design A Daydream Designer Series Paper.  This paper is paper that can be earned when you host a party and it includes 48 sheets, 4 each of 12 double sided designs (there is a typo in the catalog on page 179 in the hostess section but the correct information can be found on the bottom of page 135).  Now that can be an in-person event, an on-line event or simply your own personal order of $150 in qualifying purchases.  The great part about these hostess rewards is that you can use them to purchase one of the great hostess rewards only products, this paper happens to be one of the four rewards sets (this paper and three different stamp sets) that can be purchased for a significant savings from the Annual Catalog.  You can also use your rewards to purchase any item from the current catalogs.  I wanted to find some fun things to create with this paper so here is one I came up with…

The card base is Blackberry Bliss cardstock that is cut to 4 ¼ x 11”, scored at 5 ½”.  I added a layer of Basic White cardstock that measured 4 x 5 ¼”.  I then selected two of the patterns from the Design A Daydream DSP and cut one to 2 3/4" x 5” and the second to 1 x 5” and added them to my Basic White layer as shown in the photo.  I grabbed my Stylish Shape Dies (these are quickly becoming a go to for me) and die cut one of the circles out of Petal Pink cardstock, one of the long thin arrow labels out of Blackberry Bliss cardstock and one of the wider shorter arrow labels out of Basic White cardstock.  I stamped my sentiment “feel better REAL SOON” from the Cottage Rose Stamp Set onto the white arrow using Blackberry Bliss ink.  I then adhered the sentiment to the longer narrower arrow and then centered that onto my Petal Pink circle.  I popped this whole thing up with Dimensionals and there you have it a fast and simple card.

I hope you enjoy this card I certainly enjoyed making it.  As always you can find the supplies to create this card and much more on my website at https://craftwithronnie.stampinup.net or by click the shopping button at the top of this blog or the link to the supplies listed below.

Happy Crafting!!!
