FLORALS IN BLOOM IDEA #3

Today’s card once again features the Florals In Bloom Designer Series Paper.  For this card I kept it really simple.  No dies, only one stamp and two embellishments.  These are supplies all card makers have readily available.  Here is what I came up with…

The card base is Secret Sea cardstock cut to 5 ½ x 8 ½” and scored at 4 ¼”.  To that I added a layer of Peach Pie that measures 4 x 5 ¼”.  I cut a piece of the Designer Series Paper into a piece that measures 3 x 3 5/8” and mounted that onto a piece of Secret Sea cardstock that measures 3 ¼ x 4 ½”, being sure to adhere it with a 1/8” border at the top and on both sides.  I then tore the bottom of the Secret Sea cardstock to add more interest to the card (if you tear towards yourself, you get more texture). 

To finish off the card I cut a piece of Peach Pie cardstock to ½ x 4” and stamped the sentiment “Get Well Soon” from the Friendly Foliage stamp set onto the middle of it with Secret Sea Ink.  Finally, I added two of the blue embellishments from the Opal Rounds Assortment (these are in the last chance sale and are a great price so this is a good time to grab some).
