Sentimental Park One Sheet Wonder

Today’s card features the beautiful new Regency Park 6 x 6” Designer Series Paper and the Sentimental Park Bundle from the January – July Mini Catalog.  This is another in my series of one sheet wonders.  Now this one is a little different in that it uses one sheet to create a single card instead of multiples but I think you are going to love it also.

Here is what I came up with…

Here is the cutting template to make sure you have all the pieces you need to make the card and matching custom envelope.

The card base is Night of Navy cardstock cut to 5 ½ x 8 1/2” and scored at 4 ¼”.   Next, I cut two pieces of Balmy Blue cardstock to 4 x 5 ¼” (set one aside for the inside of the card).  I attached the 3 ¾ x 5” piece of Regency Park Designer Series Paper to the Balmy Blue layer and then wrapped a piece of the Night of Navy Bordered Ribbon around it from the top to the bottom and tied a square knot.  I then added this to my card base.  I die cut my sentiment die from the Sentimental Park Bundle and stamped the sentiment (also from the bundle) HAPPY BIRTHDAY dear friend” on it using Night of Navy Ink.  I added this to the front of my card with Dimensionals.  Then using scraps of Daffodil Delight and Balmy Blue cardstock I cut a bunch of flowers using the dies from the bundle and stacked and attached them together.  I added two smaller ones to my sentiment die and the two larger ones were added using Dimensionals.

For the inside of my card I attached a piece of Basic White cardstock that measured 3 ¾ x 5” to my piece of Balmy Blue cardstock that measured 4 x 5 ¼”.  Then I added my 1 x 3 ¾” strip of the Designer Series Paper to the bottom of the Basic White layer.  To finish of this card, I made a coordinating envelope.  I took my 2 ¼ x 6” piece of Designer Series Paper that I cut using the template and glued it onto my envelope flap and cut away the excess.  Such a nice look to have a card that has a coordinating inside and envelope.

I hope you enjoy this card I certainly enjoyed making it.  As always you can find the supplies to create this card and much more on my website at https://craftwithronnie.stampinup.net or by click the shopping button at the top of this blog or the link to the supplies listed below.

He’s The Man Birthday

Today’s card was created using the He’s The Man Designer Series Paper, the Biggest Wish Stamp Set and the Something Fancy Dies.  I also used a template for a one sheet wonder that was shared with me sometime back.  This template creates 6 cards from one 12 x 12” sheet of Designer Series Paper which is great for someone like me who can at time struggle with those masculine cards.

Here is what I came up with…

The card base is Soft Succulent cardstock cut to 4 ¼ x 11” and scored at 5 ½” (meaning the card opens from the bottom up).  To create these cards, I used the template I am sharing at the bottom of the blog.  I added one piece of the Designer Series Paper that measures 2 x 5 ½” that was cut from side one of the Designer Series Paper to the left side of my card base.  I then took my second piece of Designer Series Paper (the other side or side 2 of the DSP) which measures 3 x 4” and mounted it onto a piece of Early Espresso cardstock that measures 3 ¼ x 4 ¼”.  To this I added a piece of the Faux Suede Trim and tied a little bow around that using the Linen Thread.  I popped this up onto the center of the card using Dimensionals.  For my sentiment I die cut a piece of Basic White cardstock using the Something Fancy Dies and using the Biggest Wish Stamp Set I stamped the word HAPPY in Soft Succulent and the word birthday in Early Espresso and simply added it to the center of the card.  So as you can see this is a very quick and simple card and the best part is you can make 6 of them out of one sheet of Designer Series Paper.

I hope you enjoy this card I certainly enjoyed making it.  As always you can find the supplies to create this card and much more on my website at https://craftwithronnie.stampinup.net or by click the shopping button at the top of this blog or the link to the supplies listed below.

Thanks for Your Kindness

Now here is a sentiment I would love to send all day everyday.  Today’s card once again features the Apple Blossom Dies and the Regals 6 x 6” Designer Series Paper (both are currently on sale in the clearance rack for 60% off).  I decided to pair up these two sales items with the new Vellum Basics for a totally different look from my previous cards using these products and I must say I am happy with the result.

Here is what I came up with…

The card base is Real Red cardstock cut to 5 ½ x 8 1/2” and scored at 4 ¼”.  I added a layer for the Vellum Basics (I chose the leaf pattern) that is 4 x 5 ¼” to my card base (note: the best way to add vellum and not see the adhesive through it is to use the Multipurpose Liquid Glue and just dab it on with either a dauber or a piece of sponge.  Next, I added a piece of the Real Red Designer Series Paper from the Regals pack that measures 2 x 3 1/2'” and I put that all the way to the right lining it up with the edge of the vellum and about ¾” from the bottom of the card base.

For my focal point I stamped the apples from the Apple Harvest Stamp Set onto a piece of Basic White cardstock that measured about 3 x 3” using Tuxedo Black Memento Ink.  I colored my apple image with the Stampin’ Blends listed below and then die cut it using the Apple Blossom Dies.  I added the image to my card using Dimensionals.  I stamped my sentiment “ Thanks for your Kindness (from the same stamp set) onto a piece of Basic White cardstock that measured ¾ x 2” using Real Red Ink.  I cut a little flag on one end and then added it to my card again using Dimensionals.  For my final embellishments I added three Red Rhineston Basic Jewels and a double bow.  The bow was made from the Black & White Gingham Ribbon and added using a Mini Glue Dot.

I hope you enjoy this card I certainly enjoyed making it.  As always you can find the supplies to create this card and much more on my website at https://craftwithronnie.stampinup.net or by click the shopping button at the top of this blog or the link to the supplies listed below.

Beautiful Birthday Wishes

Today’s card features the Fern 3D Embossing Folder, the Sun Prints Designer Series Paper and the Designer Tags Dies from the Annual Catalog and the Framed Florets Stamp Set from the January – April 2023 Mini Catalog.  I am always amazed at how well all the Stampin’ Up! products coordinate even from one catalog to the next.  This coordination is what first attracted me to Stampin’ Up! products.  I know I am not the only crafter who has stood in one of the big box stores with a piece of paper and tried to find the right red or blue or yellow from the 20 different shades of each just to leave empty handed because I just couldn’t match it.  Well that is what the coordinating products from Stampin’ Up! saves me from and I love it.  Well onto today’s card.

Here is what I came up with…

The card base is Night of Navy cardstock cut to 5 ½ x 8 1/2” and scored at 4 ¼”.  I cut a second piece of Night of Navy cardstock to 4 x 5 ¼” and embossed it using the Fern 3D Embossing Folder and adhered that to the card base.  Now you could pop this layer up with Dimensionals, I did not because I didn’t want to deal with too many elevated layers and additional postage fees.  Next I cut two pieces of the Sun Prints Designer Series Paper (one has ferns and other flowers on it and one is a blue and white stripe), the floral one is 2 3/8 x 3 7/8” and the striped one is 1 ¼ x 5 1/8”.  These were mounted onto pieces of Basic White cardstock that was cut to 2 ½ x 4” and 1 3/8 x 5 ¼” and then placed onto the card as shown.

For my sentiment I grabbed a scrap of Basic White cardstock and stamped the sentiment “Wishes for a Beautiful Birthday” onto it using Starry Sky Ink and then die cut it using the Designer Tags Dies.  I added a bow through the hole in the top of the tag made with the Starry Sky Metallic Woven Ribbon.  I added this to the floral piece of Designer Series Paper using Dimensionals.  I then used another of the dies from the Designer Tags Dies to die cut a butterfly from as scrap of Basic White cardstock.  I curved the butterflies wings up a little and just used adhesive on the middle of his body.  For my final addition I added three of the Classic Matte Dots.

I hope you enjoy this card I certainly enjoyed making it.  As always you can find the supplies to create this card and much more on my website at https://craftwithronnie.stampinup.net or by click the shopping button at the top of this blog or the link to the supplies listed below.
