My April Special....

I am offering my own special during the month of April.  Anyone who places an order either from me directly or through my OBA at  www.craftwithronnie.blogspot.com  or by clicking the shopping cart at the top of this blog between April 1st and April 30th will receive instructions for 10 cards free of charge.  Just place your order and I will email the full instructions to you.  If you are a consultant and you receive these by all means feel free to use them for workshops you are conducting.

This offer will include 5 made from each of the two new paper packs previewing on April 1st, Blossom and Jackson.  Here are photo's of each of them.

These are the 5 cards made using the Blossom Paper Packet:
Simply change the stamp to Happy Birthday, Happy Anniversary, etc. for a whole new look.

This one is a great technique to use up all those scraps of beautiful paper we all end up with.

I just loved how well the orange and green went together.  If I had not seen it in the B&T paper I probably would never have thought of it on my own.

Any chance to use my shimmer trim and bling makes me a happy happy girl.  LOL

This is one of those cards that is perfect to grab and send off a note to anyone for any occasion at the last minute because it is so versatile.

And here are the five cards made using the Jackson Paper Packet:

It doesn't get much more masculine than this and we all know sometimes your really need that guy card.

I fell in love with this stamp set as soon as I saw it.  Who wouldn't, took me back to my youth and my favorite toy, the Spirograph (not sure of that spelling)!!

I even managed to throw in one that was made using this months Stamp of the Month and you have to love this months stamp, it actually includes 17 different sentiments.  I even managed to throw in an embossing folder that I actually inked up as well.

Here is another one that makes great use of smaller pieces of B&T paper and of course it is embossed so I love that.

Remember, any of these cards can be changed around simply by using stamp sets you already have on hand.  I enjoyed designing these cards very much and I hope you enjoy them as well.  Happy Crafting!!!!!!

Blossom Paper Pack

I have started to make some fun cards with the new Blossom paper packet which will be available for purchase beginning on April 1st.  While this one is an Easter card the basic design could be used over and over again to make lots of different cards (it would be great using the same stamp set I used on the second card posted here).

I am offering a special in April, I will email the directions for these two cards plus more (8-10 total) using this Blossom paper pack and the new Jackson paper pack to anyone who makes a purchase of $25 or more between April 1st and April 30th, 2015 from my OBA at www.craftwithronnie.ctmh.com I will post pictures of all cards that will be included in this deal within the next week or so.  You can see examples of two of the ones made using the second new paper packet which is Jackson on my March 20th post.

So here are the cards:

Simply change the stamp set used and you can make this card for any occassion you choose.

I just fell in love with this stamp set which is called Wavy Blooms and has 4 different flowers and three great sentiments which include Laugh as much as you breath, Do what makes you happy (shouldn't we all) and Love as long as you live (words to live by for sure).

All the papers and supplies used to make these cards will be available from April 1, 2015 through August 31, 2015.  You can see these and more great products by visiting my website at www.craftwithronnie.ctmh.com (remember new products will not be visible until April 1st) or by clicking on the shopping cart at the top of this post.

Happy Crafting!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Jackson Paper Pack

I am loving this paper packet and all the great stuff I can make with it (see previous post for more information on the paper pack).  Here is just a taste of what can be done.  I am going to include the cutting directions for this card on the post.  However, if you really like it and would like to make more cards I will be offering cutting instructions for 8 - 10 cards (watch for all of the pictures of them between now and April 1st) including these two from the Jackson paper pack as well as more from the new Blossom paper pack (see April 23rd post for some more pictures of some of those cards) just place a $25 order on my OBA at www.craftwithronnie.ctmh.com between April 1st and April 30th and I will email you them for free.

So here is the first card I made with this amazing paper pack:

Begin with a black card base made from black card stock (1386) cut to 4 ¼ x 11” and folded to 4 ¼ x 5 ½”.

All the papers used except the black and a scrap of White Daisy are in the Jackson Paper Pack (X7915B).

Cut the following:

Black Cardstock 2 ½ x 3 ½, 1 ½ x 2 ¾, 2 ½ x 3, 2 ½ x 1(this one will have a little flag cut on one end)

Jackson B&T (you can decide which patterns you want where) cut 2 ¼ x 3 ¼, 2 ¼ x 2 ¾, 1 ¼ x 2 ½

Cocoa 4 x 5 ¼  embossed with the diamond embossing folder (Z3020) I then distressed it a little with the sanding kit (Z1294) and distress the edges with Cocoa ink.

Scrap of White Daisy, you will stamp it with the flag from the Finding the Words (D1646) stamp set using Lagoon Ink (Z2195) and add words from same stamp set using Cocoa Ink (Z2114) cut it out and then distress the edges using a dauber (Z726) or your tool of choice using the same Cocoa ink.

I added brads from my stash to the flag to give it some interest, you could also add the CTMH triangle studs (Z1928)

I then assembled the card as shown in the photo.  I did attach the sentiment using 3-D foam tape (Z2060) to make it pop up from the card.

The inside can be decorated any way you choose.  I just added a piece of Daisy White card stock (4 x 5 1/4" and a 1/2" strip of the B&T paper along the bottom of that for interest.

And here is another exciting card using the Jackson paper packet:

Be sure to watch for more exciting cards and take advantage of my offer for free instructions during the month of April.  Happy Crafting!!!!

Re-purpose a kit

I loved the look of the Heartstrings card making kit but I really didn't need 15 Valentine's Day cards so I bought it and re-purposed it.  Here is what I came up with...

I took it from a Valentine's Card and made it something I could use everyday.  I plan to re-purpose the whole kit.  (Best part, I cut out everything for the 15 cards and still had enough materials left for at least 10 more if I just added a few things from my stash).  So here are the cuts for this one (remember if you order the Workshop on the Go Heartstrings Cardmaking Kit it includes all the cutting diagrams, papers, card bases, stamps (except the sentiment I used on this one) envelopes, pixie twine and more to make this card and lots more for just $24.95 it is item # G1090).  If you like this one don't wait it will only be available until March 31st.

Here are the supplies and cutting instructions if you want to buy items individually or use some you already have....

Stamp set from Heartstrings Cardmaking Workshop (G1090)
Happy to be Friends Stamp Set (C1605)
Glacier (X5770) cardstock ½ x 4 ¼”
Pixie (X5773) cardstock ½ x 3 ¾”
Heartstrings B&T Duos (X7193B) (Blue side ½ x 4”) and Red side ½ x 4 ¼”)
Whisper (X5929) cardstock 2 ¾ x 3 ¼”
White Daisy (1385) cardstock 2 ½ x 2 ½” and a scrap for flowers
Inks: Lagoon (Z2195), Pixie (Z2644), Slate (Z2173)
Pixie Twine (Z3035)
Liquid Glass (Z679) to hold down twine
3-D Foam Tape (Z2060) to pop out flowers
Scallop Border Punch (Z1851)

Supplies can be purchased at www.craftwithronnie.ctmh.com  or by clicking the shopping cart at the top of this post.  Happy Crafting!!!!

Artfully Sent Cricut Cartridge St. Patty's Day Shaker Card

Shake, shake, shake, everyone loves a shaker card and this one was so easy I couldn't believe it.

I cut the card base was cut using the Close to My Heart Artfully Sent Cricut cartridge (page 8) sleeve feature at 5 x 7”

I then cut Topiary (X5635) cardstock to 4 11/16 x 6 5/8”

I cut a sheet of Acetate to 4 5/8 x 6 5/8” (I ordered mine from Cricut.com)

Glitter and sequins (from my stash)

Ribbon (from my stash)

3-D Foam Tape (Z2060) the CTMH 1/4" works best

Liquid Glass (Z769)

Use liquid glass tape to attach acetate to the back of the front of the card covering the clovers and let it dry well (just a few minutes).  Then I placed the 3-D foam tape (1/4”) completely around the edges of the back of the front of the card (be sure not to leave gaps or your glitter and sequins will fall out).  Pour in glitter and sequins add the topiary cardstock.  Attach ribbon and shake away!!!

Everyone in my workshop loved this card, it is just fun to play with.  Supplies can be purchased at www.craftwithronnie.ctmh.com  or by clicking the shopping cart at the top of this blog.  Happy Crafting!!!

Cute card using the February Stamp of the Month

When I first got my SOTM set I thought, now how am I going to use that.  We I found tons of inspiration including some cute cards designed by Kathy Burrows using the stamp set and I was hooked.  Here is the one I made...

I also made one using two of the pink tones, Hollyhock and Pixie papers and inks and the Joyfull Birthday stamp set (B1419) which I love and use all the time.  Here is a picture of it....

So here goes, super easy to make I promise (although hubby didn't realize I stamped the paper, nor did one of the ladies in the workshop, they both thought I was using patterned paper).

These are the supplies I used to make the blue card but you can just switch out the cardstock and ink for whatever colors you want.

February SOTM – A Happy Hello (S1502)
Pacifica cardstock 5 ½ x 8 ½” folded to 5 ½ x 4 ¼” (X5759)
Crystal Blue cardstock 5 ¼ x 4” (1292)
Daisy White cardstock 5 x 3 ¾” (1385)
Pacifica Ink (Z2192)
Crystal Blue Ink (Z2117)
Bitty Sparkles (Z1263)

All supplies are available on my website at www.craftwithronnie.ctmh.com or you can go there by clicking the button at the top of this blog.  Hope you like this project and Happy Crafting!!!!
