AN ARCHED CHRISTMAS

Today’s card features the Noel Tidings Bundle and the Welcome Noel Dies.  I love how well these two sets work together and find myself often creating a card that uses both.  I also used the Neutral Noel Specialty Designer Series Paper on this card.  To be honest I fell in love with everything in this suite and ordered the whole thing.  I think you will like this card that I adapted from a card I saw on Pinterest created by Dloroes anger.  Here is what I came up with…

The card base is Peaceful Pine cardstock cut to 5 ½ x 8 ½” and scored at 4 ¼”.  I added a layer of Pecan Pie that measured 4 1/8 x 5 3/8”.  Next, embossed a piece of Very Vanilla cardstock that measured 4 x 5 ¼” using the Softly Woven 3D Embossing Folder and added that to the card as well.

I used two of the Everyday Arches Dies (the 4th and 5th largest) to cut two arches out of Crumbcake cardstock and the 6th largest to cut an arch out of the Neutral Noel Specialty Designer Series Paper (DSP).  I added the largest arch to the center of the card.  Next, I adhered the DSP arch to the smaller of the Crumbcake arch and adhered that to the center of the larger arch using Dimensionals.

I used the Welcome Noel Dies to cut out the house from Very Vanilla cardstock and the wreath from Peaceful Pine cardstock.  I used the same die to cut out a house in Gold Foil Sheet that I cut down and used behind the house for the windows.  I cut out the large oval wreath die from the Noel Tidings Dies and cut it apart to create two branches which I added behind my house.  I added the house to the front of the card, centering it towards the bottom of the arches.

To finish of the front of the card I added a Gold Adhesive Backed Dot to the center of the wreath.  I stamped the sentiment “sending cheer” from the Noel Tidings Bundle onto a scrap of Very Vanilla cardstock in Peaceful Pine Ink and using the Three Banner Punch I punched it out.  I added that to the top right of the arches.  Finally, I added a small bow made from Gold Stripped Mesh Ribbon.

For the inside of the card, I cut a piece of Very Vanilla cardstock to 4 x 5 ¼” and stamped the sentiments “from our home to yours” and “Merry Christmas” from the Noel Tidings Bundle in Peaceful Pine Ink.

I hope you enjoy this card I certainly enjoyed making it.  As always you can find the supplies to create this card and more on my website at https://www.stampinup.com?demoid=2206796 or by clicking the shopping button at the top of this blog or the link to the supplies listed below.  Be sure to follow me at:
