Deck the Halls

Today’s card features the Brightly Gleaming Suite.  I love all the beautiful colors in this paper as well as all the Copper accents.  So here it is…

And here is how it was created…

The card base was created using Night of Navy card stock cut to 5 ½ x 8 ½” and scored at 4 ¼”, Layer 1 is Pretty Peacock card stock cut to 4 x 5 ¼” and Layer 2 is Brightly Gleaming DSP cut to 3 ¾ x 5”

Cut a strip of the Cooper Foil to 1 ½ x 5” and make it into a banner using the Banner Triple Punch and then emboss it using the Hammered Metal embossing folder.

Night of Navy card stock 2 ¾ x 2 ¾” is die cut using the 3^rd largest of the scalloped circles from the Layering Circle dies, Pretty Peacock card stock is die cut using the 4^th largest of the scalloped circles from the Layering Circle dies and I simply cut it out of the center of the first layer (this is a great way to save card stock and keep the mailing weight of your card down).  And the Very Vanilla card stock 2 x 2” is die cut using the 3^rd largest of the circles from the Stitched Shapes dies and it is then stamped with the sentiment “Deck the Halls with boughs of Holly” from the Christmas Gleaming stamp set using Pretty Peacock ink.

All three circles are layered together and then adhered to the front of the card using dimensionals.

The inside of the card is Very Vanilla card stock cut to 4 x 5 ¼” and stamped using Pretty Peacock ink with the sentiment “May the spirit of PEACE gently fill your heart and home in this most wonderful time of year” Peaceful Boughs stamp set.  Here is what that looks like...
