I needed a graduation card for a man and I thought the
World of Good suite was the perfect choice to make it from. I did make it a simple fun fold card. Here is what it looks like….
The card base was created from Old Olive cardstock
that measure 4 ¼ x 11” and was scored at 5 ½” and 6 ½”. I folded my card like a regular card and then
I added a piece of Crumb Cake cardstock that measured ¾ x 4” to the front of
the card between the two scored areas. I
wove a piece of the new Faux Suede trim through one of the buckles from the
Antique Corners and Slides Embellishments (making it look like a belt) and
adhered it to the narrow part of the card.
I then adhered the 1” side to the back of the card.
I added a piece of Crumb Cake cardstock 4 x 4 ¼” to
the front of the card and then added a piece of the World of Good Specialty Designer
Series Paper that measures 3 5/8 x 4 1/8”.
I stamped my sentiment onto a piece of Crumb Cake cardstock with Old
Olive ink and cut it out using the Tasteful Labels dies. Once that was done, I just added a little
Early Espresso ink to give it a distressed look. I then cut the second stitched label from the
same dies out of Early Espresso cardstock.
I popped the sentiment up on that die cut using dimensionals.
Both the ink well and the feather were
stamped and cut using the Beautiful World Bundle. I stamped the ink well onto Old Olive
cardstock using Old Olive ink, I then stamped the feather onto Crumb Cake
cardstock using Early Espresso ink and die cut both. I added a mini dimensional to the ink bottle
to give it more interest and to allow the feather to tuck behind it. And there you have it, a card that is perfect
for any gentleman or lady for that matter.
I hope you enjoy this card. I will list the supplies I used below and you
