Technique Tuesday – Joseph’s Coat (9-12-23)

Today’s card features a technique called Joseph’s Coat.  I have a YouTube video showing the entire process and I will put the link below.

Here is what the finished card looks like…

The card base is Lost Lagoon cardstock cut to 5 ½ x 8 ½” and scored at 4 ¼”.  I then cut a piece of Basic White cardstock to 3 7/8 x 5 1/8” and this is where I did the technique (See video link).  Once I finished with the technique, I added that layer to a piece of Lemon Lime Twist cardstock that measured 4 x 5 ¼”.  I added this to my card base using Dimensionals.  To finish off the piece I stamped the sentiment “Happy Birthday” from the Inked & Tiled stamp set (this is the same one I used with the technique) onto a scrap of Lemon Lime Twist cardstock using Tuxedo Black Memento Ink and die cut it with one of the dies from the Stylish Shapes Dies.  I popped it up on the card with Dimensionals and added a single black dot from the Classic Matte Dots.
