Prince of Peace

Today’s card features the Night Divine Stamp Set and the beautiful new Shining Brightly Designer Series Paper.  The card itself is really quite simple but that is part of what makes it so elegant.  I liked working with these products and here is what I came up with…

The card base is Night of Navy cardstock cut to 5 ½ x 8 ½” and scored at 4 ¼”.   I added a layer of the Shining Brightly DSP that measured 4 x 5 ¼”.  Next, I cut a piece of Very Vanilla cardstock to 3 x 3 ½” and stamped the beautiful sentiment from the Night Divine stamp set using VersaMark Ink.  I then added gold Stampin’ Emboss powder and heat embossed the sentiment.  I just love how it turned out don’t you?  I added this to a piece of Gold Foil that measures 3 ¼ x 3 ¾”.  Add these layers to the center of the card with Dimensionals and there you have it, a simple yet elegant card anyone would be proud to give or love to receive.

Now let me let you in on a great tip here, if you are going to be needing things die cut out of the gold foil use the center of this layer to cut them out, it will be covered and no one will know but you save on materials, just be sure to stay away from the edges that will show.

I hope you enjoy this card I certainly enjoyed making it.  As always you can find the supplies to create this card and more on my website at https://www.stampinup.com?demoid=2206796 or by clicking the shopping button at the top of this blog or the link to the supplies listed below.
