Today’s card features the new Irresistible Blooms Bundle and the Hello Irresistible Designer Series Paper. This card has minimal stamping (just the sentiment) as the flowers and leaves were cut out of the Designer Series Paper using the dies from the bundle. I really wanted to show the versatility of this collection and how few supplies you really need to make a beautiful card. I hope this card does that.
Here is what I came up
with…
The card base is Daffodil Delight cardstock cut to 5 ½ x 8 1/2” and scored at 4 ¼”. I then cut a piece of Basic White cardstock to 4 x 5 ¼”. I stamped my sentiment “I couldn’t be happier to have you as my friend” from the stamp set in the bundle onto the top right corner using Daffodil Delight Ink. I then placed this piece into one of the Basics 3D Embossing Folders (there are three in the collection) leaving the sentiment area outside the folder and embossed it. Next, I cut out three of the flowers and two of the leaves from the Designer Series Paper using the coordinating dies from the bundle (it sure is nice that they coordinate and you can quickly make a card using them). I also added two small leaves that I die cut out of scraps of the Designer Series Paper. I added the flowers and larger leaves to the front of my embossed layer using Dimensionals and just glued the smaller ones directly onto it. I added this to my card base and within a few minutes I had a cute card to send to a friend.
