THE SWEETEST BIRTHDAY WISH

Today’s card features the Waterside Retreat Designer Series Paper and the Phrases & Frames Stamp Set.  I also used the Party Banner Dies to create this cute card.  Here is what I came up with…

The card base is Gray Granite cardstock cut to 5 ½ x 8 ½” and scored at 4 ¼”.  I added a layer of Cajun Craze cardstock that measured 4 1/8 x 5 3/8” and topped that with a piece of the Waterside Retreat DSP that measured 4 x 5 ¼”.  I used one of the cute cut aparts from the DSP, this one features an ice cream shop, and cut it down using the 4^th from the smallest of the banners from the Party Banner Dies to cut it down.  I then used the 5^th smallest die to cut out a piece of Cajun Craze cardstock and the 6^th smallest to cut out a piece of Gray Granite cardstock.  I adhered the three pieces together and pop them up on the left side of the card using Dimensionals.  I stamped the sentiment “Happiest Birthday Wishes!” from the Phrases & Frames Stamp Set over on the bottom right side of the DSP using Cajun Craze Ink. 

For the inside of the card, I cut a piece of Basic White cardstock to 4 x 5 ¼”.  I added a little piece of the DSP I used on the front to the right side; it measured 1 ½ x 4”.  I stamped the sentiment “May your day be filled with love and happiness” also from the Phrases & Frames Stamp Set onto the white using Cajun Craze Ink.
