ON MY MIND

Today’s card features some last chance sales items, because who doesn’t love something on sale?  I am using the Beautiful Patterns Embossing Folder and the Opal Rounds which or both on sale while supplies last.  I am also using the True Blue Florals DSP which is no longer available but as I said in previous posts about this these cards are to go in a coordinating box that I showed how to make in a previous post and you can make them with any DSP you have on hand to match your box. 

Here is what I came up with…

The card base is Balmy Blue cardstock cut to 5 ½ x 8 ½” and scored at 4 ¼”.   I cut a layer of Basic White cardstock to 4 x 5 ¼” and embossed it with the Beautiful Patterns Embossing Folder before adding it to my card base, I also wrapped the center with a ribbon (this is retired ribbon but you can use any ribbon you have on hand or even another piece of DSP or cardstock for the same kind of effect).  I die cut one of the Party Banner flags out of Night of Navy cardstock and used the next smallest one to cut a flag out of the DSP.  I adhered these together and added them to the front of my card using Dimensionals. 

I stamped the sentiment “You’re on my mind and in my heart” from the Friendly Foliage stamp set onto some scrap Basic White cardstock using Night of Navy Ink and then die cut it using the Stylish Shapes Dies.  I added this to the center of my larger flags.  To finish off my card I added two of the Opal Rounds.
