STAMPIN’ UP! BRUSHED WITH BEAUTY FUN - CARDS 7 & 8

Continuing on with the next two cards I made using the beautiful new Designer Series Paper without buying a whole suite collection.  These cards were created using that same one piece of 12 x 12” DSP and a little scrap from a second piece and set out to do just that.  As I said before I ended up with 8 cards and I love them all.  I will be continuing to share them throughout this week.  Here are the final two I came up with…

CARDS 7 & 8

Card Base: Crumb Cake cardstock cut to 5 ½ x 8 ½” scored at 4 ¼”

Layers: Petal Pink cardstock cut to 4 x 5 ¼” and scraps of Petal Pink and Old Olive for sentiments

DSP:  2 ¼ x 5” (side 2) and DSP #2 (small flowers) 1 ½ x 5” (tape together on the back side and then wrap ribbon around) before adhering to Petal Pink layer

Ribbon: Petal Pink (retired, use what you have in your stash)

Sentiment:  Friendly Foliage Stamp set, stamped on petal pink scrap with Old Olive Ink and cut out and mounted on a scrap of Old Olive cardstock

Embellishments: Pearls of Beauty Embellishments

Inside:  Basic White 4 x 5 ¼ and scrap of extra DSP ½ x 5 ¼”

As you can see these cards are super cute, were easy to make and did a great job of using the Designer Series Paper as the inspiration for year.  I hope you enjoy these cards I certainly enjoyed making them.  As always you can find the supplies to create these cards and more on my website at https://www.stampinup.com?demoid=2206796 or by clicking the shopping button at the top of this blog or the link to the supplies listed below.  Be sure to follow me at:
