FLORALS IN BLOOM HELLO THERE

Today’s card features Florals In Bloom Designer Series Paper, Blooming Phrases Stamp Set and the Pressed Flowers Embossing Folder.  The best part about this card is that I created it using some of the products that are currently on sale as part of the In-Color sale running through the end of August.

Here is what I came up with…

The card base is Granny Apple Green cardstock cut to 5 ½ x 8 ½” and scored at 4 ¼”.  I then cut a layer of Timid Tiger cardstock (on sale) to 4 x 5 ¼” and embossed it with the Pressed Flowers Embossing Folder.  Next, I cut a layer of Granny Apple Green cardstock to 3 ¼ x 4 ½” and then cut a piece of the Florals In Bloom Designer Series Paper (on sale) to 3 x 3” and then cut that into four pieces that measured ¾ x 3” (watch the direction of your pattern).  I also cut a piece of Basic White cardstock to ¾ x 4” and using the Blooming Phrases Stamp Set I stamped “Hello There” in Granny Apple Green In starting to the far left of the paper.  I added the leaves from the stamp set to the tail of the works.  I added the Designer Series Paper and the sentiment equally spaced to my Granny Apple Green layer; I adhered the Designer Series Paper directly to the layer but used Dimensionals to pop up the sentiment.  I added Dimensionals to this layer and popped it up on the center of my card. 

For the inside of the card, I cut a piece of Basic White cardstock to 4 x 5 ¼” and using just the tail of the sentiment I stamped a stem in Granny Apple Green Ink.  I added leaves from the stamp set and finally a flower from the set that I stamped in Timid Tiger Ink (on sale).  I did the same thing to the envelope.
