HERE FOR YOU

Today’s card features the Beautiful Gallery 6 x 6” Designer Series Paper and the Banner Sayings Bundle.  I also used the Phrases & Frames Stamp Set and the Relaxing Waterside Stamp Set for the inside of my card and my envelope.  I wanted to make a cute fun fold so here is what I came up with…

The card base is Pecan Pie cardstock cut to 5 ½ x 8 ½” and scored at 4 ¼”, cut up at 1 ½” to the score line on the left side.  I cut my DSP to 3 ¾ x 4” and 1 ¼ x 4” (for this one I used the back side of the DSP).  I adhered the 1 ¼ x 4” piece to the left flap and then adhere the flap to the back of the inside of the card.  I adhered the 3 ¾ x 4” piece of DSP to the right side of the card.  I stamped the sentiment “I am here for you” from the Banner Sayings Bundle onto a scrap of Pecan Pie cardstock using Tuxedo Black Memento Ink and then punched it out using the coordinating Three Banner Punch.  I adhered just the right side of it to the card leaving the left free to move as the card is opened.  I added three brown gems to the front (these are retired but there are lots of gems to pick from plus you probably have a bunch in your stash like I do). 

For the inside of the card, I cut a piece of Basic Beige cardstock to 3 ¾ x 4”.  I stamped the sentiment “Sending Prayers and Heartfelt Sympathy to You and Your Family” from the Phrases & Frames Stamp Set (I really like this one for the inside of a sympathy card) using Garden Green Ink.  I used the little sea grass stamp from the Relaxing Waterside Stamp Set to stamp the bottom corner.  I stamped it once first generation and then twice more second generation.  I stamped the same sea grass on the envelope.
