DELICATE DREAMS SMILE

Today’s card features the Delicate Dreams Designer Series Paper and the Nature’s Symphony Bundle.  I like to work with products that are from different product groups so I can get all new looks so that is what this card was all about.  Here is what I came up with…

The card base is Secret Sea cardstock cut to 5 ½ x 8 ½” and scored at 4 ¼”.  I added a layer of the Delicate Dreams DSP that measures 4 x 5 ¼”.  Using the die from the Nature’s Symphony Bundle I die cut the foliage piece from some retired Rose Gold Foil I had in my stash (it would look great with gold foil or even cardstock that coordinates with the DSP) and added it to the front of the card.  I stamped my sentiment “You Make Me Smile” from the Nature’s Symphony Bundle onto a scrap of Hydrangea Hue cardstock using Secret Sea Ink and punched that out using the 1 ¾” Circle Punch.  I used the 2” Circle Punch to punch out a circle from the rose gold foil and finally the 2 3/8” Circle Punch to punch out Secret Sea cardstock (you could also use dies for this).  I adhered all three circles together and then put that on my card using Dimensionals.

For the inside of the card, I cut a piece of Basic White cardstock to 4 x 5 ¼” and added a little piece of the DSP that measured ¾ x 4” to the bottom of it.  For the envelope I stamped one of the foliage pieces from the stamp set using that same Secret Sea Ink.  This ended up being a really quick and easy card to make.
