HERE FOR YOU

Today’s card features the Friendly Foliage Bundle (a new online product) and the Woven Textures Designer Series Paper (this is in the last chance offers and on sale for just $8.75 a pack).  I love the masculine look to this card and the rich colors.  This Friendly Foliage bundle is really versitle and a lot of fun to work with.

Here is what I came up with…

The card base is Early Espresso cardstock cut to 5 ½ x 8 ½” and scored at 4 ¼”.  I then cut a piece of the Woven Textures Designer Series Paper to 2 x 5 ½” and mounted that onto a piece of Pecan Pie cardstock that measured 2 ¼ x 5 ½”.  I added this about ½” from the bottom of my card base.  Then I cut a piece of Basic White cardstock to 1 ¾ x 3” and stamped the sentiment “Here for you always” onto the right side of it with Pecan Pie Ink.  I then stamped three of the larger branches from the set onto the left side using Shaded Spruce Ink.  I mounted this onto a piece of Pecan Pie cardstock that measured 2 x 3 ¼” and added it to the front of my card using Dimensionals (note: don’t put the dimensionals too close to the edges so you can tuck in your die cuts under it).  I die cut three of the foliage pieces from the bundle out of Shaded Spruce cardstock and tucked them up under the sentiment.  To finish off the card I used a Mini Glue Dot and attached a triple bow I made out of Linen Thread to the sentiment layer.

For the inside of the card, I cut a piece of Basic White cardstock to 4 x 5 ¼” and stamped three of the foliage stems from the bundle into one corner using Shaded Spruce Ink.  I stamped the same images onto my envelope.
