3D Wisteria Wishes Card

I really love the new Wisteria Wishes bundle and I wanted to showcase its potential in a card that was a little more 3D than many I do.  I saw a card something like this that Lauri Seki had created so I just added my own touches to it to make it mine and I am very happy with the results.  Here is what I came up with…

The card base is Crumb Cake cardstock that is cut to 5 ½ x 8 ½”, scored at 4 ¼”.  I cut an additional piece of Crumb Cake cardstock to 3 ¼ x 4 ¾” and then I took my Brick and Mortar 3D Embossing Folder and inked it up using Soft Suede ink.  I placed that piece of Crumb Cake cardstock inside the folder and ran it through my Stampin’ Cut and Emboss Machine which resulted in my bricks having that nice inked effect (when done just rinse the folder out under some water and dry it off).  I attached this piece to the center front of my card base.  I then cut another piece of the Crumb Cake cardstock this time to 4 1/8 x 5 3/8” and I used my Stitched Rectangle Dies to cut the center of it out resulting in the look of a window.  I popped this up on the front of the card using Dimensionals.

Then I went to work on my flowers and leaves.  I used the dies from the bundle to cut the flowers out of Highland Heather and Gorgeous Grape cardstock cutting each of the two sized from each color cardstock.  I adhered the smaller of the two on top of the larger changing the colors so that it waws more of a 3D affect.  I then die cut three of the branches with leaves out of Pear Pizzazz cardstock.  I cut these apart so I could arrange them across the top and down a little on the left of the top of my card and then adhered them to the card.  Next, I added the Wisteria flowers using some Dimensionals.  I stamped my sentiment (also from the bundle) onto a piece of Very Vanilla cardstock using Gorgeous Grape ink and die cut that using one of the Stylish Shape Dies (now these dies are becoming a go to set for me but if you don’t have them you could simply cut the sentiment out in the shape of a rectangle or use any die or punch you have that is the right size).  I adhered this right to the front of my card overlapping my wisteria.  For a final embellishment I created a four layer bow out of Linen Tread and adhered it to the top left corner of the card using a Mini Glue Dot.

I hope you enjoy this card I certainly enjoyed making it.  As always you can find the supplies to create this card and much more on my website at https://craftwithronnie.stampinup.net or by click the shopping button at the top of this blog or the link to the supplies listed below.
