I just love little gifts to give to special people in my life and this is such a simple yet adorable project that is perfect for just that.
So lets get started creating this box and card set.
Cut
the following pieces from Garden Lane DSP: 3 ¼
x 3 ¼” for the top of the box and four pieces 7/8 x 3 3/8” for the sides
Cut
the following Cardstock pieces: Two
pieces of Grapefruit Grove 3 x 3”, two pieces of Mint Macaroon 3 x 3” and four pieces of
Whisper White cut 2 ¾ c 5 ½” and scored at 2 ¾”
Stamp
five of the medium daisies using Grapefruit Grove ink onto whisper white
cardstock and punch out using the medium daisy punch.
Stamp
three of the large daisies using Grapefruit Grove ink onto whisper white
cardstock and punch out using the larger daisy punch.
Stamp
one of the large daisies using Daffodil Delight and punch the center out using
the ½” circle punch.
Stamp the sentiment onto a scrap of Grapefruit Grove
cardstock using Mint Macaroon ink and punch out using the Timeless Label punch
for the top of the box.
Assemble mini pizza box and attach DSP to top and
sides. Add sentiment using
dimensionals. Stack the three large
daisies to make the daisy for the top and add the center that was stamped in
Daffodil Delight using a dimensional.
Now let’s assemble the mini cards.
On the first card stamp the sentiment “Smile” on the
bottom left corner using Grapefruit Grove ink and one of the small daisies from
the stamp set in the upper middle of the folded card also using Grapefruit
Grove. Add the stem stamped in Mint
Macaroon starting at the base of the daisy and going down to the bottom right. I added a little bow made from the Mint
Macaroon ribbon.
On the second card stamp the sentiment “The best
moments in my life happen with you” on the bottom right using Mint Macaroon
ink. Ink up the bottom portion only of
the fern stamp in Mint Macaroon and stamp from the center top. Stack two of the medium daisies and shape and
add to the card at the base of the fern.
I also added a few of the rhinestone basic jewels to this card.
On the third card stamp the sentiment “Friend” on the
bottom left using Grapefruit Grove ink.
I then stamped two of the ferns coming from each side and stacked two of
the medium daisies and popped them up with a dimensional. Here I also added a touch of Daffodil Delight
ink to the center of the flower with my aqua painter and wrapped a piece of linen
thread around the card.
Mini Grove ink.
Stamp a fern from the right side of the card pointing toward the top of
the card using Mint Macaroon. Stamp one
medium daisy using Grapefruit Grove and add one of the ones previously stamped
and punched to the top with a dimensional.
Stamp the tip of the fern in Mint Macaroon on the
bottom right corners of two of the envelopes and the small daisy in Grapefruit
Grove on the bottom left corners of two of the envelopes.
Now the final step.
Adhere the mini cards to their colored cardstock bases as shown in the
photo (of course you can use any color combination you want).
I hope you enjoy this project, it makes a great little
hostess gift, teacher gift or neighbor gift and can be made using any of the
DSP or stamps (I am already thinking about Christmas). The supplies used are listed below and can be found on my website at www.craftwithronnie.stampinup.net or by clicking the shopping button at the top of this post.
As always, Happy Crafting!!!
