I created a card kit to send to my customers who placed online orders of $50 or more during the month of January as a thank you. I provided them with all the pieces and instructions to create this card themselves. The one thing I can not do is send stamped images because of copy-write laws, so I sent a die cut piece that they can add their own words to from a stamp set they already have. This months kit features the Marbled Elegance Specialty Designer Series Paper and the Hearts of Elegance Dies.
Here is what I came up
with…
The card base is Bubble Bath cardstock cut
to 4 ¼ x 11” and scored at 5 1/2”. Then
I added a layer of Real Red cardstock that measured 4 x 5 ¼”. I added two pieces of the Designer Series
Paper one measured 3 x 3 ¾” and the second measured 2 x 3 ¾”. I added a ½” strip over the seam of the
Designer Series Paper that was 4” long. Next,
I die cut one of the hearts from the die set out of Gold Foil and cut a scrap
of Basic White cardstock using one of the dies from the Stylish Shapes
Dies. I used one of the sentiments “YOU
ARE loved ” from the Unbounded Love stamp set
and stamped it using Real Red Ink. I
added that to the bottom right of my card front using Dimensionals. The final addition on the card front was the
heart which I also popped up using Dimensionals.
For the inside of the card, I cut a piece
of Basic White cardstock to 4 x 5 ¼”. I
added a strip of the Designer Series Paper that measured ½ x 4” to the bottom
along with one addition heart that was cut out of Gold Foil.
