I have been having a blast working with the Textured Notes bundle and all the great coordinating products. Today’s card features the stamp set and the Mini Corrugated 3D Embossing Folder and uses some brighter color than I have used on previous projects with this set.
Here is what I came up
with…
The card base is Basic White cardstock cut
to 5 ½ x 8 ½” and scored at 4 ¼”. I
stamped image #3 (see below) onto the upper left and lower right corners of the
card base with Lost Lagoon ink that I had stamped off once before applying to
card. Next, I cut a piece of Pretty
Peacock cardstock to 3 x 4 ¼” and cut a piece of Basic White cardstock to 2 ¾ x
4” which I embossed with the Mini Corrugated 3D Embossing Folder and adhered
them together and attached them to the upper right corner of the card base in
about ¼”. Then I cut a piece of Basic
White cardstock to 2 5/8 x 3 7/8” and stamped it with first generation and second-generation
stamps using Stamp #3 (see below). I
then stamped image #2 on the center with Pretty Peacock Ink. I attached this piece to a piece of Lost
Lagoon cardstock that measured 2 ¾ x 4” and attached that to the lower left
side of the card base in about ¼” using Dimensionals.
I stamped my sentiment “thank you” onto a
scrap of Basic White cardstock with Pretty Peacock Ink and die cut it using one
of the stitched round dies from the Stylish Shapes Dies. I added a little flag die cut using the
Stylish Shapes Dies cut out of a scrap of Lost Lagoon cardstock that I adhered
to the center of the back of the circle.
I attached this across the stamped piece using glue on that section and
Dimensionals on the parts that hung over.
To finish off the card I added a Linen Thread Bow and some Tinsel Gems.
For the inside of the card and the envelope I stamped image #3 (see above) in the right bottom corner with Lost Lagoon Ink that I had stamped off once (second-generation stamping) and then stamped just the top of image #2 over that in Pretty Peacock Ink.
