BLACK AND WHITE

Today’s card features the Textured Notes Bundle and the Botanical Textures Designer Series Paper.  I love this black and white paper it is so easy to work with.  This card was fast and simple and perfect for a bigger yet it definitely has a little wow to it.

The card base is Basic White cardstock cut to 5 ½ x 8 ½” and scored at 4 ¼”.  I added a layer of Basic Black that measured 4 x 5 ¼” and a layer of the Botanical Textures Designer Series Paper that was 3 ¾ x 5” (you could choose any of the papers in this pack and it would work perfectly).  Next, I took a piece of Basic White cardstock that measure about 3 x 4 ¼” and die cut it using the 3^rd from the largest of the Textured Notes Dies (see below).  I stamped image 1 (see below) onto the bottom right corner using Basic Gray Ink that I had stamped off once on scrap paper before stamping on the white.  Next, I took image 2 (see below) and stamped it right in the middle using Tuxedo Black Memento Ink.  I popped that layer up on Dimensionals in the center of the card.  I stamped the sentiment “You are seriously the best” onto a piece of Basic White cardstock using Tuxedo Black Memento Ink and die cut it with die 8 (see below).  I mounted it on a piece of Basic Black Ink that is 5/8 x 3 ¾” and attached that to the rectangle I stamped.  To finish off the card I added three of the Adhesive-Backed Sparkle Gems.

For the inside of the card and envelope I stamped the stamp that looks like the bottom of a basket in Basic Gray Ink that I had stamped off once in the right corner and then stamped the top of the large leaf stamp and stamped just the top of it over the basket bottom in Basic Gray Ink.
