YOU MAKE ME SMILE

Today’s card features a number of items from the Stampin’ Up! Online Exclusive collection.  What does Online Exclusive mean?  Well it simply means these are products that are available for purchase online or through your demonstrator that will not be featured in a printed catalog.  Today my card features the Mixed Florals Bundle, the Happy Hibiscus Bundle (for the sentiment you can use any sentiment you chose), the Forever Plaid 3D Embossing Folder and the Thoughtful Journey DSP.

Here is what I came up with…

The card base is Lemon Lolly cardstock cut to 4 ¼ x 11” and scored at 5 ½”.  I cut a layer of the Thoughtful Journey 6 x 6” Designer Series Paper (I chose a nice neutral) to 4 x 5 ¼” and kept the scrap that was ¾ x 4” for the inside of the card.  I embossed this DSP with the Forever Plaid 3D Embossing Folder and added it to my card.  I then stamped my large floral image from the Mixed Florals Bundle onto a piece of Basic White cardstock that measured about 3 ¼ x 4 ½” using Tuxedo Black Memento Ink.  Once my image was stamped, I used the coordinating die from the bundle to cut it out.  I colored the images using the Stampin’ Blends in the products list below and adhered that to the center of my card.

Next, I stamped three of the cute little ladybugs from the Mixed Florals Bundle onto a scrap of Basic White cardstock using Tuxedo Black Memento Ink and then die cut them with the coordinating dies in the bundle.  I used the Real Red Stampin’ Blend to color them and then added them to my card with Mini Dimensionals.  For my sentiment I stamped “You make me Smile” from the Happy Hibiscus Bundle onto a scrap of Lemon Lolly cardstock using Tuxedo Black Memento Ink and then die cut it using one of the labels dies from the coordinating die set in the bundle and added it to the card with Dimensionals.

To finish off my card (this doesn’t show in photos) I added some Wink of Stella to my tulips and ladybugs to make them pop.  I cut a piece of Basic White cardstock to 4 x 5 ¼” and added my left over ¾ x 4” piece of the DSP to the bottom and this became the inside of my card.

I hope you enjoy this card I certainly enjoyed making it.  As always you can find the supplies to create this card and more on my website at https://www.stampinup.com?demoid=2206796 or by clicking the shopping button at the top of this blog or the link to the supplies listed below.  Be sure to follow me at:
