SENDING LOVE

Today’s card features the new Regal Flora bundle and the beautiful Regal Winter Designer Series Paper.  I love the color palate in this paper, those rich colors like, Berry Burst, Blackberry Bliss, Cherry Cobbler, Night of Navy, Pretty Peacock, Shaded Spruce and the one surprise, Wild Wheat.  This paper is so rich it can stand all alone on a card as the focal point so that is what this card was intended to show.

Here is what I came up with…

The card base is Highland Heather cardstock cut to 5 ½ x 8 ½” and scored at 4 ¼”.  I added a layer of Night of Navy that measured 4 x 5 ¼” and then a layer of that beautiful Regal Winter DSP that measures 3 ¾ x 5” (I picked one that shows off night of navy and highland heather).  That pretty much made my card.

To finish the card off I stamped the sentiment “wishing I WERE THERE TO GIVE YOU A hug” onto a scrap of Highland Heather cardstock with Night of Navy ink and then I die cut that using the die from the Regal Flora bundle (I love this cute sentiment label die) and I looped a piece of Iridescent Striped Trim Ribbon behind it and attached the whole thing to the center front of the card using Dimensionals.
