Today’s card features the Nests of Winter Designer Series Paper and the Wintery Tree Tops Bundle. The birds on this DSP are just adorable and easy to fussy cut (some can be cut with the coordinating dies) so they are easy to create with.
Here is what I came up
with…
So, this card is a super simple and quick
card to create. The card base is Smoky
Slate cardstock cut to 5 ½ x 8 ½” and scored at 4 ¼”. I cut a layer of Basic Black to 4 x 5 ¼” and
added a piece of the DSP that measures 3 7/8 x 5 1/8” to it and added that to the
center of my card base. I stamped my
sentiment “thinking of you always” from the stamp set onto a scrap of Basic
White cardstock using Tuxedo Black Memento Ink and die cut it using one of the
Stylish Shapes Dies (I did cut the right end off) and added it to the right
side about 1 ½” above the bottom using Dimensionals. Then I fussy cut out one of the birds and one
of the branches and berries from the Designer Series Paper. I popped these up with Dimensionals
overlapping my sentiment just a touch.
Like I said this card was simple to create and came together in
minutes.
