NATURE’S SYMPHONY FUN FOLD

Today’s card features the Nature’s Symphony Bundle and the Nature Walk Designer Series Paper.  I will throw in some gold heat embossing and some Pretty Peacock cardstock to round it out.  I fell in love with both the bundle and the paper as soon as I saw them so I knew I wanted to use them for my upcoming card class.  Here is what I came up with…

The card base is Pretty Peacock cardstock cut to 4 ¼ x 9 ¾” and scored at 5 ½”.  I cut my Nature Walk Designer Paper to 4 x 4” and 1 ¼” x 4”and added heat embossing before attaching them to the card base.  I began by stamping using the Nature’s Symphony Bundle, I started with image #7 (see below) on the piece of DSP that measured 1 ¼ x 4” using VersaMark Ink and then adding Metallics Wow! Embossing Powder (I used the gold) on it and heat embossing.  Then I stamped two of image #5 and image #6 (see below) onto the 4 x 4” DSP again with VersaMark Ink and again embossed using the gold embossing powder.  With that done I added the 4 x 4” piece to the front of the card and the 1 ¼ x 4” piece to the right side of the inside of the card.

Then I used the dies from the bundle to cut image #3 (see below) out of a piece of Pretty Peacock cardstock that measured about 3 1/2 x 4 1/4".  I added it to the front of my card using Mini Dimensionals.  I grabbed a scrap of Pretty Peacock cardstock and stamped the sentiment “You Make Me Smile” onto it using VersaMark Ink and again embossed it using the gold embossing powder.  I then punched it out using the 1 ¾” Circle Punch.  I added this to a Gold Foil circle I punched out using the 2” Circle Punch.

For the inside I cut a piece of Very Vanilla cardstock to 4 x 4” and stamped the corner of it using image #7 (see above) and Pretty Peacock Ink.  I stamped it once and then a second time second generation (meaning without adding any additional ink to the stamp).  I did the same stamping on my envelope to coordinate it.
