MIXED MEDIA FLORALS HELLO

Today’s card features the Mixed Media Florals Designer Series Paper.  I did throw in some other products that have been around for a while to show how you can use a new paper with products you already have on hand for a great card.

Here is what I came up with…

The card base is Garden Green cardstock cut to 4 ¼ x 11” and scored at 5 ½”.  I cut a 4 x 5 ¼” mat out of Peach Pie cardstock and embossed it with the Distressed Tile 3D Embossing Folder and added it to my card base.  I cut a piece of the Mixed Media Florals DSP to 3 x 4” and mounted it onto a piece of Garden Green cardstock that was 3 ¼ x 4 ¼”.  Before adding this to my card I wrapped a piece of Peach Pie Bordered Ribbon around it and adhered it to the back with Tear & Tape.  I popped this piece up on Dimensionals right in the center of the card.  I stamped the sentiment “Hello” from the Everyday Greetings Stamp set onto a scrap of Basic White cardstock using Peach Pie Ink, then I die cut it using one of the dies from the Nested Essentials Dies.  I used Mini Dimensionals to add this to the front of my card being sure to put them on the edges so they would stick to the paper and not the ribbon so it sticks well.  I made a square knot bow from the same ribbon and added it with a Mini Glue Dot.

 

For the inside I cut a piece of Basic White cardstock to 4 x 5 ¼” and stamped the leaves from the Layering Leaves Stamp Set with Garden Green Ink.  I added little I am not sure what to call them but I will say little star things that are from the Delightful Wishes Stamp set all around it in Peach Pie Ink.
