MAGNOLIA MOOD JUST A NOTE

Today’s card features the Magnolia Mood Bundle which is a new online exclusive.  I knew the minute I saw this bundle I wanted it.  I could just imagine all kinds of things I could do with it and it has not disappointed. 

Here is one of the cards I came up with…

The card base is Moody Mauve cardstock cut to 4 ¼ x 11” and scored at 5 ½ “.  I cut two pieces of Basic White cardstock to 4 x 5 ¼”, the first I used on the front of the card and the second on the inside of the card.  For the front I stamped my sentiment “just a note to let you know that you are loved” from the stamps in the Magnolia Mood Bundle on the upper right corner using Pebbled Path ink.  I then grabbed a scrap piece of Basic White cardstock and stamped the large Magnolia image (also from the stamp set) onto it using the Pebbled Path ink.  I die cut it with the coordinating die from the bundle and colored it using the light markers from the Parakeet Party, Petal Pink and Wild Wheat Stampin’ Blends.  Before attaching this to the basic white card layer I wrapped a piece of the Moody Mauve Textured Ribbon around it about 1 ½” front the bottom and attached the ends to the back of the layer.  I attached the layer to the card base and then attached the die cut to it using Dimensionals. 

For some additional interest I die cut two of the leaf sets from the coordinating dies out of scraps of Parakeet Party cardstock and tucked them up under the magnolia image again using Dimensionals.  For my final addition I added three of the Parakeet Party colored gems from the Tinsel Gem 4 pack. 

For the inside of the card I simply stamped the large image part on and part off the Basic White cardstock and colored it with the same blends I used on the front of the card.
