Today’s card features some new online
products from the Latte Love Suite Collection.
When I first saw this collection I was drawn to it but unsure. So as I often do I waited a few weeks to think
about how I would use it before I ordered it.
Sure glad I decided to order it because I have been having some fun with
it for sure.
I saw a card by Peggy Murwin on Pintrest
and I suddenly knew it was perfect for this set, hHere
is what I came up with…
There are actually two card bases to this fun fold and they are cut from Pecan Pie cardstock 4 ¼ x 8” and scored at 5 ½” x 8 ½” and 3 x 8 ½” and scored at 4 ¼”. I cut a piece of Pecan Pie cardstock to 3 7/8 x 5 1/8” and stamped the coffee stains from the Latte Love Bundle all over it using Early Espresso Ink. I then mounted this onto a piece of Early Espresso cardstock that measured 4 x 5 ¼” and attached that to the inside of my first card base. With that done I could move onto card base number 2.
I cut a piece of Basic White cardstock to
2 ¾ x 4” and stamped one of the coffee stains on the bottom left corner and
adhered it inside card base 2. I then
centered that card base onto the first one and attached it. To finish off card base 1, I cut a piece of
Early Espresso cardstock to 2 ¼ x 4” and attached a piece of the A Little Latte
12 x 12” Designer Series Paper (the one with the little string of hearts) that
measured 2 1/8 x 3 7/8 to it. I then
attached this to the front right of card base 1.
Now to finish off the front of card base
2. I cut a piece of Early Espresso cardstock
to 2 ¾ x 4” and to that I attached a piece of the A Little Latte 12 x 12”
Designer Series Paper (this time the blue and white stripes) that measured 2 5/8
x 3 7/8” and then attached that to the front of card base 2. I then die cut out two of the coffee cups
from the Designer Series Paper using the dies from the Latte Love Bundle and
attached one directly to the front and popped the second one up with some Dimensionals. I stamped the sentiment “you’re the best part
of my day” onto a scrap of Basic White cardstock using Early Espresso Ink and
the die cut it out using one of the Nested Essentials Dies and popped it up on
the front with Dimensionals. My final
addition was three of the Adhesive Backed Swirl Dots.
