Just Wanted To Say

I am continuing to have some fun with the Fine Art Florals suite of products.  Today’s card is a simple thinking of you card with a little extra special layer made with Acetate and gold gilding.  You will note this card really doesn't use a ton of different supplies/tools but several are retiring soon and some are on clearance so don't miss out.

The card base is Blushing Bride cardstock that is cut 5 ½ x 8 ½”, scored at 4 ¼”.  I set my card base aside and began working on the topper for it.

I cut a piece of Seaside Spray cardstock (love this color but it is retiring in May) to 4 x 5 ¼”.  I then added a layer of the Fine Art Floral Designer Series Paper (DSP) and a coordinating piece of the Golden Garden Designer Specialty Acetate (let me do some explaining here, there is a package of three sheets of specialty acetate that coordinate with this set.  Two of those sheets actually line up perfectly with two sheets of the DSP.  Those clear sheets then have golden lines on them that are beautiful when added to the DSP).  I cut each piece of the DSP and the Golden Garden Acetate to 3 ¾ x 5” and adhered them to the Seaside Spray layer (note:  be sure to hide the adhesive you use on the acetate (I hid mine behind my ribbon and under my sentiment).  Once I had that layer all together, I wrapped a piece of the Seaside Scallop Linen Ribbon around it and adhered it to the back.  I popped this layer up on my card base using Dimensionals.

I then die cut my sentiment “just wanted to say” from Seaside Spray cardstock using the dies from the Art Gallery Bundle and I adhered it right onto the acetate layer.  I also cut a piece of Seaside Spray cardstock to ¾ x 3” for my sentiment.  I used the die from the bundle to cut the little label I stamped “I’m thinking of you” (also from the bundle) out of Basic White cardstock and stamped it using Seaside Spray ink.  I added the sentiment piece to the piece of Seaside Spray cardstock and popped it up onto the card using Dimensionals.

I hope you enjoy this card I certainly enjoyed making it.  As always you can find the supplies to create this card and much more on my website at https://craftwithronnie.stampinup.net or by click the shopping button at the top of this blog or the link to the supplies listed below.

Happy Crafting!!!
