Art Gallery Happy Birthday

I have been having working with the Fine Art Floral Suite this past week and I have certainly been having some fun with it.  There are so many beautiful products in the suite it is just unbelievable.  Today I wanted to use several of them and to create a Birthday card.

Here’s what I came up with…

The card base is Poppy Parade cardstock that is cut 4 ¼ x 11” and scored at 5 ½, so it opens from the bottom up.  I set my card base aside and began working on the topper for it.

I cut a piece of the Fine Art Floral Designer Series Paper (DSP) and a coordinating piece of the Golden Garden Designer Specialty Acetate (let me do some explaining here, there is a package of three sheets of specialty acetate that coordinate with this set.  Two of those sheets actually line up perfectly with two sheets of the DSP.  Those clear sheets then have golden lines on them that are beautiful when added to the DSP).  I cut each piece of the DSP and I added the stamp Happy Birthday from the Happy Thoughts stamp set onto the DSP using Poppy Parade ink.  I then added the Golden Garden Acetate to 4 x 5 ¼” and adhered them to one another (note:  be sure to hide the adhesive you use on the acetate (I hid mine behind my ribbon, behind my embellishments and under my die cut flowers).  Once I had this layer together, I wrapped a piece of the Fine Arts 3/8” Ribbon around it and tied a bow on the front of the card.  I added this layer to my card base.

I stamped my flowers from the Art Gallery Bundle onto a piece of Basic White cardstock (I inked the flowers up in Poppy Parade ink and then carefully added Mossy Meadow ink to the stems.  I used the coordinating die from the Art Gallery Bundle to cut out my flowers and then added them to my card using Dimensionals, I just tucked it down into the ribbon and adhered it.  The final step was to add three of the Gilded Gems.

I hope you enjoy this card I certainly enjoyed making it.  As always you can find the supplies to create this card and much more on my website at https://craftwithronnie.stampinup.net or by click the shopping button at the top of this blog or the link to the supplies listed below.  Please note several items are on the current retiring list and will only be available for a limited time.

Happy Crafting!!!
