Christmas Advent Calendar

Close to my Heart has a great special going on in the While Supplies Last section.  You can purchase the base for this cute Advent Calendar (or to use for lots of other things, like a cute jewelry box for a little girl, to hold craft goodies) for just $11.85.

Here is what I did with mine:

I made twenty-five little boxes using the Cricut Artiste Cartridge and then cut little circles and squares at 1 1/4" out of daisy white (I also used the Artiste to do this) and out of red and green to coordinate at 11/2".  I stamped them with the Magical Days stamp set and then glued the stamped images onto the colored bases and used 3-D Foam Tape to pop them on the boxes.  The bow was made using some retired red chevron ribbon but could easily be made with the Cranberry Stripped ribbon from the current Idea Book.
